SWOOP Magazine Cover Shoot

This past weekend I had the pleasure of being on the beaches of Los Angeles to photograph volleyball player, Morgan Beck for the cover of SWOOP Magazine. Our photo shoot took place at the very hip Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. We had the entire roof top pool and deck to ourselves ("ourselves" meaning everyone involved in the shoot)! The overall production went extremely smooth, everyone was really laid back, fun and we had a great time with perfect weather and lighting! BTW, I have to give special props to the girl who held the reflector - you rock!!! ;)

SWOOPS Motto is "Work Hard, Play Often"... I like that, maybe that will be my new FB status?

Anyway, here's some of the photos. I'm not posting the cover image, I'll share that when it's officially released in a few weeks (but I know you'll love it!) ENJOY!!!

Beige & Hollywood

I'm in Los Angeles right now photographing the cover of SWOOP magazine with Bettini's Bikini's for the cover look - VER... NICE! I was also invited to do some commercial work for an online fashion magazine. The pics won't post there until the issue is released next week but here's a sneak peek of the gorgeous accessories I had fun playing with... All from Hollywood's "BEIGE".

P.S. - Tomorrow is the photo shoot for the magazine cover - I'm extremely excited and I'll be sure to get some preview photos up ASAP! Have a great weekend!

Love Affair 2009 & Charlotte Weekend

So I just confirmed my spot at the Love Affair Photography Workshop this summer with some photographers from across the country meeting in Atlanta for a week of photo & business skill building. I can't wait to meet those photographers I've admired and learn from these women who seem to "do it all" with their business and family life!

This past weekend at the Epicenter had a lot going on and lots of people celebrating the holiday weekend! SUITE hosted a fashion show and MEZ was hoppin' as usual! Enjoy some of my favorite pics from the weekend...

Wednesday night was the "Pink Party" hosted by The Velvet Nights at the EpiCenter's SUITE. It was jam packed and guests were having a blast with great music and celebrating Spring by wearing pink and enjoying "pink treats" all night! I love how people have been getting really animated for my pictures lately, it's cracking me upppp!!! Below are just a few photos from the event!
